Get Excited! Get Outdoors!

Hey everyone,

With the recent fall weather, we decided to take our kettlebells outdoors and enjoy the cooler temperature.  A change of scenery is a great way to instill some excitement into your workout and keep things fresh.  It's too easy to get into a rut with your fitness routine and if this happens, it will rob you of your motivation and results.

For our outdoor kettlebell workout, we used two kettlebells of the same weight (2x12 kg for Tannys and 2x24 kg for Alex).  We made our way to a local park and set up by a picnic table near a few trees.  Our workout consisted of double kettlebell farmer walks, followed immediately by kettlebell swings (overhead for Tannys since she was using a lighter weight than usual).  We completed 10 sets in approximately 40 minutes.


This was a great workout, made even more exciting by the change in scenery and fresh air.  Take advantage of the cool fall weather and get excited, get outdoors and get exercising!
