Bike + Circuit

Hey everyone,

With the extra time we had this long weekend Monday, we decided to complete a longer workout that consisted of both an upper body circuit workout, followed by a long bike ride.  It was a beautiful day to get out and enjoy the weather!


We started off with a circuit workout, focusing on upper body exercises.  We completed 3 circuits of six exercises.  Here is what we did:

  1. Wide-grip Pullups
  2. Kettlebell Clean & Press
  3. Jungle Gym Reverse Pushups
  4. Kettlebell Boxer Press
  5. Underhand Chin Ups
  6. Dips

After a quick protein bar to refuel, we set out for our bike ride.  We only cycled about 22 km, but really pushed the pace to give ourselves a cardio challenge.  However, we did make sure to take a couple of water breaks to enjoy the scenery!



Biking is a great addition to your workout repertoire. Even if you don't have a bike, you can participate in this activity, as many cities now have easy access bike rentals available.
